Saturday May 1 at the cod party
Weather's getting too nice plus weekend, the party is now 100's of boats. After the early bite, everyone spread out pretty good over the bank looking and looking.
We nearly limited on cod and boated 6-8 pollack (part of the early bite). The cod went to deeper waters, slow bite but much bigger fish. "Thepoint" Chad had the biggest cod and pollack of the day, but Marty had the biggest pull of double (big) cod. |
way too many boats out there. looked like june at the NWC!

Supposed to be pea soup fog tomorrow, hopefully most boats stay home !

Anyone that wants to check out the conditions and fishing:

That is a lot of boats working that spot...was there any enforcement out there or was it a free-for-all?
