canoe/kayak fishermen

Just wondering. Noted that there were a couple of members that used canoes to fish with. Any other folks using canoes and/or kayaks as part of their fishing experience?
Personally own a couple of canoes and a few yaks all set up to fish from, not that I'm a fanatic or anything, but I really enjoy the freedom these boats allow you.
Any other fana.... er I mean folks into the little boats?

i got a 16' Old Town with two molded plastic seats. i metioned in an earlier post today that im looking forward to getting back out fishing the sweetwater. i have been thinking about it and i remember that without a middle seat it was a tough time fishing by myself. you can buy seats to fit the middle of a canoe but the yoke can be a problem. im not familiar with kayaks but i would bet for a guy/gal who likes to fish by themselves a kayak would be the way to go. i never brought my canoe out to the salt so i can't help you there.

I'm going to be getting into a Tarpon 160 this season and see if I can't cover a bit more water in CT than I can get to from shore.

Tight Lines,
Rob
