Thanks to Beamie I got to enjoy a wonderful dinner tonight of fresh striped bass, veggie kabobs, and a nice salad! Good trip and even though it wasn't continuous action we took advantage of what was there. Good fun and thanks to Beamie!

There's a salad Dude! :biglaugh: That was only 1/4 of the amount of fish she cooked so I didn't have much room for greens!

Yes, it was lemon pepper. The bass was caught Sat morning and marinated all day/night. It was very tasty!

Baked , grilled ?
Lemon pepper cooked on a grille with wood chips (propane sucks) is the best way I've ever eaten striper !

JoeBass 05-24-2010 10:42 AM

man that looks good.

Frankiesurf 05-24-2010 04:48 PM

Can you tell I'm not the cook in the house with my lack of good details!:biglaugh: Ronnie, it was grilled(propane) wrapped in foil with small holes poked in it. We also have a small wood chip thing that sits in the grill and gives a nice smoked aroma.

Next up on the receipe front will be a cajoun rub and I'm also a big fan of the Hoysan sauce!

Send the recipe to Giada. She likes to add lemon to everything, and would look damn good drinking a PBR out of the can....
