The brain trust is hiring blockbuster director ...
to help with the oil rig disaster.
They had invited Michael Cameron to join the merry little band of thinkers in hopes that he'll do what? Maybe come up with a new bestseller blockbuster movie for next year? Maybe they can get the guys that made the X-Men and Transformer movies to help as well? Maybe they'll get the oil leak stopped BEFORE it runs dry and destroys the ENTIRE gulf ecosystem, but that's just wishful thinking I'm afraid. |
I think he was brought in to help document and film.

One hell of a film maker to boot. They must have some good connections.

2. He has done an extensive amount of filming under water and I think that is the reason he is being brought in. |
Bryan is spot on. The guy knows more about rov use deeper than they are working than probably anyone else on the planet.

What those two said^^^.

Freaking liberals and their SUV's.

So spend my tax $ on fixing the problem or spend $ on filming the problem? Bush should have hired a PR firm for KatrinaM

Thanks for the correction.
What I find amusing is that he wants to volunteer the use of the deep sea sub he used in Titanic, but that thing is 20 years old! I agree that he's probably there to film what they hope will be a huge success for the US, but will probably be a bigger disaster than the actual sinking of the Titanic. I am astounded at the lack of initiative and action with regards to this fiasco. While millions of gallons of crude are destroying what was a prime seafood region of the world, the powers that be are more content to spend weeks sitting on their collective brians and playing with themselves instead of doing ANYTHING. This clusterf**k should put BP completely out of business, and bankrupt their investors. |
Obama came out and said that he is "really angry" and he toured the area.
All publicity fluff, but hey Im sure he'll get the Nobel environmental award! With this disaster, is it safe to say that collectively there was more damage to the environment under his watch than all 8 yrs of the Bush admin, just wonderin' |

:rotflmao::rotflmao: It's one thing to be a conspiracy theorist... it's another to be a whackjob. For the average American, there's no doubt as to how bad this is. Pictures of birds covered in oil and dead fish isn't going to prove it any more so. |
