hey ronnie, this might not be appropriate, but so is the alternative if you don't know... What's an acceptable tip for the mate... 20%? 30%? flat rate?

Differ if you don't catch anything?

The mate is the hardest working person on the boat long after the charter leavs there still there cleaning and organizing, nettting bait the night before, etc...
