Parking Thread
I know I speak for alot f new surf-fishermen when I ask for some parking areas for hot-spots on the cape anybody got some good ones that aren't to good to give away.
|
Oooh - that's tough. There is a lot of trouble just coughing up hot spots on the internet - seems everyone wants 'em that way :D ...
Well - I would say try an exercise in investigation. Look for places on the Cape that offer structure or moving water / inlet. Or do what half the other people have done and get the book Striper Hot Spots :) .... There are thousands of "hot spots", some easy some less traveled. Typically people start off with the well known ones... |
Find out what the regulations are to park overnight at any swimming beach. When you're in compliance, park there, take one rod and a small bag of plugs (needlefish, small thin plastic swimmers and metal lips) and some rigged Rubbah and set out on foot. Maybe spend the $$$ to park by day and check out the structure before you go out to fish later in the evening.
