Where to stripe in Onset?

Staying on Onset Harbor next week, specifically at Shell Point. Any recommendations where to fish and what to use? Thanks for any input.

Shell Point Beach is a great place to start if you are looking to stay in Onset?? Get out early before sunrise or late as the sunsets as the shallow water there will warm quickly and not hold many fish by day! If you are looking to travel a bit the canal is a great spot!!

Welcome.
Early am canal tides will have promise.
Stop in M&D's tackle in Wareham and Mike will steer you straight.

Is this THE Carl Friekin' Burke I used to work with at BosToy?

Ditto on the M&Ds in Wareham. Tell Mike you saw them on S-B.

Classic chunking close to deeper water of fresh pogies if you can find them. My Shell Point experience ends in May early year so I don't have a clue to offer for July info.
