104* In the sun at my house right now, is your lawn supposed to crunch when you walk on it?

redlite 07-06-2010 05:08 PM

Thank god there was no traffic on the way home. The manual 2 by 80 AC was like standing in front of a blast furnace.....God bless central AC. 68 in the house.

stripermaineiac 07-06-2010 05:11 PM

Hit 100 up here today. Supposed to do some yard work. LOL Ya right.

Dad 818 07-06-2010 05:20 PM

Great fuggin' day to have the AC go in my car!!!! :fury:

Thankfully my errands were done by 10am.

Just put over a grand into it for tires and a repair to pass inspection.......:smash:

95 plus in VT now

JohnnyD 07-06-2010 06:09 PM

Spent 15 minutes in the steam room after my workout today like I always do... got outside and wondered why I'd wasted the 15 minutes.

As the cliche goes, it's the humidity that gets you.

Frankiesurf 07-06-2010 06:21 PM

Pretty nasty outside when you have to take a shower right after you get out of the shower.

SurfCaster413 07-06-2010 06:46 PM

I dont even wanna go into the pool till it gets dark out even then it will probably be warm as bath water

johnny ducketts 07-06-2010 06:55 PM

Amen for central ac, my climate controlled paradise. After sweating at work all day it felt nice to be in the cool.

thermo on the car hit 101 when I was nearing rt 128 today :devil2: Just moved to a new apartment, on the second floor, with only three small windows and no AC. I have a small fan. I am roasting right now- might need to just sit in the cold shower.

Slipknot 07-06-2010 08:22 PM

No sweat Phil :) they look great

Glad I got 5/0 to do central air just in time too
it's frosty in the house
