anyone notice the obnoxious volume of commercials played on the usa network? WTF?

All channels, not just usa! There is also a commercial conspiracy in that all the channels air comms at the same time, use to be if you were a good surfer you could avoid comms by remote flicking. Notice there is an "li" in that last word.

there was some legislation put together to stop the upped volume
when the quieted down show ....switched over...but thus far it hasn't
taken affect as of yet. :huh:

I've been having to explain the commercial volume increase to my family for years. They always seem to think that I just cranked up the volume to piss them off, but then I would change channels, and "viola!" the volume drops back to normal!

It's annoying!

If you want to hear some loud announcemnts and ads--listen to a Spanish-language radio station sometimes= :grins:

but they are mesmerizing you seductively
with essentially.......... false advertising

don't ever loose sight of the fact that seeing
an info-mercial just 37 times has conditioned
you to buy the device or item .....

or in the form of a shorter commercial
they are conditioning you to become so familiarized
with the look of their product....
because............................
many people spend less than 5 seconds making the choice
when looking at the items on shelves at a store.
