Menemsha CG Fire
 

OD Mike and I had a first hand view of the fire today which started about 2:30PM. Big plumes of black smoke rose into the sky spread northward fairly quickly. We didn't see any actual flames or hear an explosion. Haven't yet heard the cause but looks like significant damage to the pier area. ODM might post a pic if anything turned out.

What a shame that was to me a major part of the harbor there I always loved Menemsha and used to dock at the Owls nest when we stayed there 20ish years ago, just a beautiful place.
