Points for Kayaks
Motor boats should be given points for Kayakers.
100 points for bulleye - center 50 points - left or right of center 25 points - if he/she abandons craft before striking. |
And kayakers should be given points for every weighted jig placed sqaurely between EVERT boaters eyes!

Yeah....only "Boat Guys" have a right to be on the water!!!!:fury: Try and score some points on me some time......you will rue the day!:fury::fury:
|
Also bet bright shiny penny boaters with such warped view points are the tools we read about in the newspapers frequently......running their boats up on rocks and jettys and having other "unfortunate" things happening to them! Good thread!! This thread starter deserves "Ass-Hat Of The Week"!!!

I second that Bigfish.
Probably the same water-turds that get boarded by CG or EP and the same reply to all questions: "I didn't know that!" (you know when they ask "Do you have lifejackets for all passengers?" or "Do you know that drinking while operating a boat is DUI?" or "Did you know that you just ran over another watercraft?" Probably the same type of person that doesn't see a problem running across a lake at full throttle at night with no running lights because...... wait for it....... :"I didn't know that." This is like a hit and run post.... only it's more like a "dump-n-run" with oral feces. |
I'M NOT WEARING ANY PANTS !!!!

I actually read this to see if there were some "pointers" being given by a concerned boat guy on how to co-exist safely on the water.
Disappointed to see it was just another Assclown with something stupid he wanted to say to the other Assclowns out there. |
I'm sure this was meant to be a joke. Possibly? As a boater and a kayaker, I find it in poor taste and not funny at all. In fact it's probably the same type of thinking as pulling up and dropping anchor or trolling right through a surf fisherman's casting zone.
It's all about respect, and this shows the lack of it.:hs: |
Yeah, I don't get this, Rich..... If this is truly your MO, put it on your website, not here.... Vote to delete the whole thread.....
|
Why delete it? Let some of the other members read his idea and comment. Threads like this can show how some people think.
I'm sure it was a joke but a really stupid one. I would actually like to hear from the more enlightened boaters out there about what us kayakers can do or not do to avoid problems. |
everyone take a deep breath. it's a joke, a bad one but still a joke. yakkers suck, boaters suck, surfdouches suck - we all suck in our own special way

Thanks Bo! I think your right, that kayakers should learn the rules of navigation and actually stay away from chanels meant for power boats if possible.
|
It was only a pun people. I really wouldn't want to collide with a Kayaker and I take all precautions when around them.
There is ignorants and arrogance on the water regardless of what type of water craft one uses. Some weekend days I stand by the second busiest bridge in the country to watch the ignorants of boaters not giving way to the boaters coming out of the riverside that have the right of way. |
Are we visable enough? I wave my bright yellow paddle blade above my head a few times when I see boaters in my vicinity. If you wave back(not just to be freindly) it tells me you have seen me and I can concentrate on staying out of your intended path.
In open water situations, I sometimes have difficulty judging the direction a boat will take. Its scary when I have taken evasive action to avoid being in a boats path and then still not being sure what side it will eventualy pass. As far as marked chanels, I stay out of them whenever possible, and when it's not I paddle as quickly as I can to get out of there. |
When I "cross" boat channels I always yield to the boat traffic and try to pass without causing them to break their speed or path. Pretty courteous for an ass--le......don't you think??:rotf2:
Or..."Yak-Douche'" as the case may be!:rotf2: |
fwiw I'm always friendly to yakkers and it's usually returned. Love seeing them pull a big slob out from underneath if I ask how they are doing.
Man that would be fun. I have run into the occasional that thinks they are more privileged to be on the same waters. And I have also played chicken (not on purpose) with a yakker or two when I did not see them. They'll be damned if they move though. this thread was obviously a joke and maybe an attempt (successful) to push some buttons, but it also raises a good question on what is appropriate to coexist. let's all not take ourselves so seriously as long as no one is getting hurt. Pretty sure boat guys take it on the chin more than any other group on this site. |
For the record.....I afford others all the respect they deserve when we are sharing the same water, beach....whatever! However when they do not afford me the same.....look the "F" out!!! Alot of ass-hats out there....we see on the news and read about some of the most profound and proficient ass-hats in the news papers all season long!!!:rotf2:

I boat fish and yak, only a little yakking in the salt though. The one that always gets me are the weekend yakkers that paddle right through the mess of 200 boats off the Race, all of which are jigging wire. Last time I was on a boat off the Race, the only way to catch fish was by jigging - every boat out there was jigging wire - then a group of 4 or 5 kayakers paddles the few hundred yards out into the middle of trolling boats, put there paddles down and started casting. Sometimes you couldn't see the yaks until you were right on top of them due to them being eclipsed by other boats. Dumb, Dumb, Dumb.
|
here's something for you yakkers. you are tough to see during low light conditions or at night. i've come across many with no lights. light em up boys, dusk and dawn too. thank you. and yes L you are the biggest yak-douche of them all. you might as well get a center console w/ the size of that thing.
