pvc

im not sure if you guys are familiar with this pvc
stuff i use for exterior house trim. its a pvc material that can be bought as an exterior railing ballaster(2"x2"). its lightweight and as the product manufacturer says it works like wood and accepts paint(acrylic). it feels a bit more lightweight than pvc plumbing material. is anyone familiar with it?

I have used some Celtex 500 to make a few plugs, as has Fishpart. It's expensive, it floats and a little heavier than Alaskan Yellow Cedar. It doesn't make very good pikies in the 7" range, I think it's too heavy. I will be making needles out of what is left in my stash.

It would be great for poppers and bluefish plugs.

Might have to try some of that for those toothy buggers at south cape...
