Ram Rod from the Nebraska album! A favorite of mine!:grins:
|

YouTube - Bruce Springsteen - The River Live @ Glastonbury |
1. Wild Billy's Circus Story
2. For you 3. Adam Raised a Cain 4. Atlantic City 5. Thunder road Too many others to list, but the lesser known stuff is my favorite. I like the album stuff better than the live stuff as the live stuff sounds like Neil Diamond live with all the shouting of lyrics as opposed to singing them...just my .02 |

This is an impossible question for me to answer. I am a huge fan. Some of my favorites: Lost in a Flood, New York City Serenade, Thunder Road, She's the One, Seaside Bar Song, Rendezvous, Fever, it goes on... |
Early stuff - Sandy, Incident on 57th Street, Thundercrack
Middle Years - Thunder Road, The River, My Hometown Later stuff - Tunnel of Love, Magic, Radio Nowhere If I had to pick one: Thunder Road |
I'd have to say I am a huge fan too...since '73.....
I have many, many favorites ....first 5 albums, Nebraska and Ghost of Tom Joad are my favorites.. |
Sorry I got my songs mixed up! Love RamRod but its "Open All Night" I was thinking of on Nebraska!:grins::grins:

Hey now, this is supposed ta be a family friendly site, you can't say
Thundercrack in here (must be hard core Bruce fan to come with that one though) Rosalita, only way to end a show!! YouTube - Springsteen Rosalita 1978 |
My only complaint with Rosalita was that it knocked Thundercrack out of the set list for a long time.

Bruce does some great live cover songs too- my 2 fav's are Dylan's Chimes of Freedom and Jimmy Cliff's Trapped.
Favorite originals are thunder road, the river and nebraska state trooper |
Depends on the mood. In no order:
Prove it all night Marys Place Thunder Road Ghost of Tom Joad Atlantic City Spirit in the Night Jungleland I'll stop because I think I could go on. Heres one. YouTube - Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band - Prove It All Night |
I was hearing Thundercrack was off the list for personal reasons. Eventually he got over it. That's what I heard. Watching some crappy Ben Stiller movie last night and first song on the road trip was none other than Rosalita. Went way down hill from there.
Reminded above to put Atlantic City on the remakes list of songs Bruce gave away and "remade", at least in shows. Another fav, just cause I been on the shore for too many 4ths, know too many "Sandy" types down there?!?!?! I still don't get the fascination with Jersey Shore or Sopranos. Guess when you lived there and that it's old hat, been there done that...... anyways, BRRRRUUUUUCCCCEEEEE YouTube - Bruce Springsteen - 4th Of July, Asbury Park (Sandy) |
