Very well done, and informative.

Nicely done. You made a good point about losing a way of life. Has the industry agreed to 100% coverage in the fishery yet?

I've disagreed with some of your posts in the past, but I really think you did an excellent job here. Completely agree- 100% coverage in the midwater/pair fishery is the way to go.

Rob- Problem is not all herring boats are those giants- many are small, ~40' vessels that target them seasonally. Very difficult to get high coverage in a case like that. Not as easy as industry just agreeing to go along with it.

Kudos must be shared with Fisheye, Buddy V on MV, some moderate enviros that share our concern on this issue, MSBA and more. I am grateful I had the opportunity to participate.

Good stuff, definitely an under monitored area, do they still allow foreign factory ships into state waters for sea herring?
