P.I. Beach CLOSED

Can any one tell me WHY the beach is COLSED from parking lot 1. on down whats up,

Its always closed until about a week before labor day because of the piping plovers. Lots 6 and 7 may be open now but the rest?

mackerel hunter, thank you, PLOVERS, (tast like chicken) I like my'in on the GRILL. was up there last week, onlys BIRDS on the BEACH were CROWS,GULLS.:smash:

Im going to walking around tossing plugs.

No lots 1,6, & 7 are open and they will open more as soon as the birds are ready to Fledge, The whole beach is usually open by the middle of August

No. The lot we use is just before the bridge on the PI Turnpike.
