Who's Cooler ? plug guys or eel guys ?
 

Not asking what is better or more productive .. I'm asking,, Who would you rather hang out with . 1 a guy who trys his best to impart life into a plug .,,or #2 ,, a guy who lazily throws live bait . I think we all know the answer ..

Besides the lack of smell :biglaugh: I'd say it would be because of all the cool "tools of the trade".

There's nothing wrong with eels, but you've seen one, you've seen 'em all. Now if eels came in a variety of colors like slug-gos and hogeys, then that would be a different story.

The coolest guy is the one who goes about doing his thing confidently in a manner that is pleasing to him, without worrying about someone else's definition of "cool"...

After somebody catches a really nice fish one of the first questions is .. On What ? (1st question is where ).. I think every fisher qualify's the catch in his head after hearing "On What"..

Cooler: A term used to describe someone who either knowingly or unknowingly ruins a hot bite.

The name of the game is to catch fish... those that are good at it, use EVERYTHING at their disposal....I dont choose any particular group...must be why I fish alone.. and if you think slinging eels is easy... you aint fished with me!

Anybody can throw a live bait that the fish normally eat. It takes an in depth knowledge of science and a good fish intuition to use wood or plastic to catch a fish.

The coolest guys use both and to save from posting again on the other thread , the coolest guys use eels , plugs and plastic. Whatever the fish want , the cool guy ties on and throws it out there!! :)
