26yrs for extortion? or 15 sec of sex?

Statutory rape of a 14 or 15 y.o.. That's what will land this former teacher in jail.

I think flyvice has another story in mind.....this one was about extortion, not rape.
Hopefully the legal system will stick to its guns and levy the same justice for her than if it had been a man extorting money from a female.

Our own recent teacher-sex scandel proves our system doesn't work:
A male teacher has sex with a female student, he goes to jail for the max and has to register as a sexual predator for the rest of his life.
A female teacher has sex with a male student, she gets a probationary warning and keeps her job.
Exactly where is the equality in the law here?

OK, back to the original topic.
Unless she was a minor WHEN the sex allegedly took place, she should receive the proper sentence for the crime REGARDLESS of her sex, PERIOD!
