Meet Banjo!
3 Attachment(s)
After all the positive vibes from the Luds, Raider Ronnie, and Dakota adoption we finally get to pick up our new addition to the family tomorrow. We are adopting him from a rescue that was taking in flood survivors from the Nashville area. This little guy is 10 months old Boxer/Hound mix named Banjo. He's located in Manchester NH so tomorrow we hit the road and bring him to his new home! We are very excited!:jump1:

Congratulations and kudos to you and your family for rescuing a dog. There are so many out there that people have turned their back on ,or just couldn't afford.

Good for you on rescuing. Good looking dog.

Awesome - good for you! We just rescued "Jake" last summer - litter of pups brought here to Southern RI from a kill shelter in Kentucky. Coon Hound. Crazy son of a b!tch but turning into a great dog.
Good luck - Banjo is one lucky dog. Dave |

So far Banjo is a complete gentleman and very well trained. The hour and a half ride was quiet and he relaxed the whole way. We took him in the backyard and the field behind us and he immediately played so well with another hound in the neighborhood. In fact he was better well behaved than the 5year old. Listened and reacted to my every command on first or second attempt. Very social and gentle as well but firm player and fast as he'll so am glad he listens cuz I'd never catch him. He is piling the food though, 3times. He's out for a power walk with mom now on a belly full of gravy mix. They were feeding him with Acana prarrie mix but that,s not what he ate here. I bought a comparable brand and mix and that is what he threw up this afternoon. We'll see how well this feeding stays down.

MarshCappa,
Best wishes for a long life together for your family with Banjo. |
Body type:
that dog is built to run and is born to fetch.... what i use exclusively John for that is the six inch rubber ring....that if you pinch it between the side of your index finger (the pointer finger) and your thumb and throw it with a forward snap (same as a hulahoop except backwards) it'll go 60 yards. my dog will fetch two of them at once lays on her back playing with two of them like an otter.... heh heh great choice and good luck with banjo |
Awesome!
