Perseid Meteor showers
 

Starting to get going now. Peaks Thursday night.

saw something going on Sat night... was pretty cool to watch since the fishing was slow

Saturday night was amazing. I love watching that stuff. We also saw Mars bright and clear. It was even reflecting off the water like the moon does.

Just after dusk tonite look into the W/SW sky.

3 planets will be in a triangle, Mars, Venus, Jupiter I think it is. Venus is on the bottom, Mars on the left.

Little leprechauns will be dancing on the lawn.....:grins:

Back in my astronomy days I remember staying up all night one summer and counting them...at times over 60 an hour.

keggars & other extracurricular activities in the cornfield ain't bad.......

de-tassling corn is a big activity to prevent undesirable X-breeding forming new hybrids

I did that once.

Not one summer mind you, but once.
