They caught him with the lobster but they say the lobster he is acussed of stealing, not the lobster he stole.

I know a guy that used to pull lobsters out of the tank in the store and then buy a few misc. items with the lobsters under his arm pits in the check out line, no joke not lying I cant make that up

AFAIK, that's because you're presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Newspapers are supposed to write articles that way or they'd be sued for libel successfully if they guy got off on a technicality. Usually, they use the term "alleged".

Still funny as hell though...what a dumb thing to do...

never forget the story about the woman who stole the frozen turkey and hid it under her skirt only to get almost caught...then she bolted out of the store climbed a chain link fence and ran away out running the store security never dropping the turkey.:rotf2:
