Drowning Brace Cove Gloucester
 

Another person (fisherman???) got washed off the rocks in Gloucester today and drowned.

Any Names yet?

WHDH-TV - Fisherman drowns, several rescued in Gloucester

Two separate incidents of fisherman getting pulled into the waters due to high surf, one OK and one not. Only info on the dead fisherman: 67 yrs old.

Sucks. Not even that big today.

Magnolia can get hairy even when its not too choppy out there.

NECN just reported the victim was a 67 year old man from Belmont. T&P for the family.

be careful out there... you do this for so many years, you start to think it cant happen to you...

The place in Magnolia that the incident happened is a pretty high cliff, flat-faced. Brace Cove is can be brutal as the waves sweep in at angles. Sad for the loss of life... Hopefully folks will get it and stay clear/safe this weekend.

oh man this is horrible....
yeah that magnolia spot can definitely get hairy even in decent conditions (well, for us that don't wear wetsuits at least)
