St Croix Triumph.

I bought a 9' 2 piece Triumph and i noticed the stripping guide is a bit small creating a ton of line slap using a vs 200. I picked up a fuji 50 from M&D's and it looks too big. Anyone ever try putting a 50 on one. The next guide is a lot smaller, not sure how that will effect the rod. I got the original stripper taken off and wanted some advice before i put on the 50. Sorry for interrupting hurricane talk :):smash::wall:

tape it on and give it a shot before the hurricane.

Are you using braid? if so, the small stripping guide should not be a problem... only if using mono...

Simple. Buy a vs 150.
