Well, I rarely fish much anymore, but the shop has been busy this summer. ProfessorM and #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^& were kind enough to get me some pichney bodies to copy and here's what came out:

Pichney Sand Eels

Pichney Conrad and Slope head

Back Beach needles-they're really just slimmed up or down wadds and gag's bodies.

The plugs are probably nice, but your camera obviously sucks.

I do need a grommetizer, though. Anyone wanna rent one out?

Couple Numbskull inspired skinny donny's too. One has a lefty 2 mid slot, and the other has a bm jr. lip I ripped out of a perfectly good plug...

LOL George is so good for the ego and has an eye for detail.

I think they all look really great Mike. You did a bang up job. The more you make the easier it gets and the results get better. Then one day you think you got it all down and you screw up a bunch and you are back to being paranoid about the whole process again:smash:

I'll lend for now and make you a grommetizer, I got a few projects for you this winter:uhuh: Any time you want to stop by your welcome, except this week as I am working days after morning school bus detail, missing these good morning tides too but one day I will be missing the school bus stuff.:uhuh:

It's the best way to start the day. We're doing 8th grade now, so I have to not be right by the bus.

ProfessorM 09-08-2010 07:48 PM

LOL. I am still waving:wave:, soon it will be please hide in the bushes till the bus it out of sight Dad

I think that is step three on the road to plugbuilding obsession, plugs look nice.

Looking good Mike, I think its time I need a Back Beach Plug.

Striperknight 09-08-2010 08:30 PM

I owe you one for the plug I begged off you so many years ago, so we'll see what happens...perhaps I could get you one as a party favor for joining us here at S-B for the 2011 striper cup? :hee:

Really nice stuff, Mike. I'd say you've come a long way in your first year of building, but the plugs you made when you first started out were really nice, too! You definitely have a knack for this.:kewl:
