September 18th Kayak Scramble!
 

Launch site has yet to be determined.....Saturday the 18th if anyone is interested we will have a group getting together for some yakkin' and some fishin'! I am hoping a couple of North Shore fellers can make it down??? I will be checking the tides for a few different areas to see what might be good! Post here if you have interest in coming along!:uhuh:

Need inut on what location works for everyone? We could do a local south shore spot or I am contemplating a 1 1/2 hour ride to Herring Cove Beach in P-Town and fishing off Race Point??? Thoughts??

If you do, I'll be in Truro Sept 10-19. Might have to leave a couple days early though.

1 1/2 hour ride to the race is a 3 hour ride for some of us North Shore guys...

We will keep it local Kevin...provided you are coming??

I'm interrested if it's somewhat local .. race is 120 miles from my door .. Wich I would gladly do for the weekend ,,camping in North Truro ... not good a 1 day thing .

If you guys with yaks have not been on one yet.....these "scrambles" we have been doing are a blast and the fishing has been improving! Next weekends should be epic and we have some new participants coming.....The Dad Fisherman is joining us if all goes well!!! I am looking for the rest of the crew who have been along to join in and maybe get a few new guys also so if you have a kayak and you want to join in the fun let me know!!!

Thinking of an "After Get Together" back at my house after the trip! A little more simple than last time...maybe just coldcuts and sodas.....maybe a couple beers? Any thoughts?? Gonna be a nice day and everyone will be hungry after so I thought we could hang out?? Let me know!

I may be able to make it. Depends on if I have to work, lay offs are coming. I have a sitter arranged for Gramps, so I'll either be working or kayaking.

Made a new (to me) upgrade this weekend and can't wait to get it on the water. Larry's not the only Big Dog on the water any more. :musc::hee:

I just got back from Bob's house and she is a beauty! I can't wait to see the look on Bob's face the first time he uses it!!! We got 2 air craft carriers in the "Plastic Navy" now!!:uhuh:

Mary is heading to maine for a few days to visit her sister Sat morning, so she won't be able to make it.

Watching the weather thru the rest of the week in relation to the building surf and swells from Hurricane Igor which is far away but may affect which location we launch from. It will be Duxbury Bay if the surf is up as long as conditions are good......I am hoping for Hull.....I will be visually checking both spots Friday afternoon!

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it on Saturday, Larry. Per doctors orders, I'm on the DL for at least a week. Hopefully, I'll be back out there for another scramble soon.

We will be having them most weekends John....until we can't! Get well and see you soon I hope!

yeah sorry I can't make it, got a family cookout on Sat, but I will try to see if I can make one at some point. We need to get you up to the very kayakable waters of the north shore Larry
