What do you think of the Ocean kayak Angler Trident 11? Is it seaworthy? A good choice for a beginner?

Edit: Not a beginner, been in kayaks my whole like on ponds. But, beginner to sit on tops in the ocean.

The Trident series from Ocean Kayak are great kayaks. They are a very well thought out design. Good stability and good speed. I would recommend the 13' over the 11' though. It'll track much better and be a drier boat than the 11'.
I have the 15' with rudder which is also another good feature to have. Many times you don't need a rudder, but there are times on windy days that you'll wish you had it. It also aids in fighting a fish as you won't get spun around as quickly. Gives you better control over the fish.
I'm on the XX plus size and the 15' is very dry even for me.
I just upgraded to the Hobie Pro Angler, but there are probably a couple features of the Trident that I'll miss. My OK Trident has tentatively been spoken for, but if for any reason, that deal falls through and you think you're interested, I'll offer you a great deal on a like new boat.
The bottom line; you can't go wrong with any of the Trident boats, but again, I'd recommend the 13' or 15' for ocean use.

The rudder is also the nuts when you are trolling through a lobster pot field.....

I have the OK Prowler 13 which is almost the same yak and it is incredibly stable. I can swing around side saddle in it and everything.
