tysdad115 09-24-2010 01:11 PM

Skeeters were nasty today, learned something else- When you put bug spray on wearing a sweatshirt then remove said sweatshirt the mosquitos will not go near the sweatshirt, but you are fair game. Way to go dumbass.

eastendlu 09-24-2010 01:46 PM

Read that first sentence and was already to pack up the truck.:smash:

iamskippy 09-24-2010 06:22 PM

The Ditch has been a B*tch

BrianS 09-24-2010 07:37 PM

I had my share of that bite too..
I had about 25 guys in my vision and only 1 schoolie I saw landed.

2am-8am... jigs, plugs, tins..

but PLENTY of skeeters and peanut bunker.

JamesJet 09-24-2010 09:19 PM

Well last night I fished until about 1:45 and while there were no fish, there were no skeeters either. Its always cool to see the bluefin in there - last year there was quite a show for a couple days with some decent sized fish.

You sure you didn't drop it out of your bag climbing down the rocks? Because I found an almost-full spray can of Cutters wedged in the rocks tonight at a certain UDL ;)

You posted a picture from that very spot in the spring

piemma 09-25-2010 03:03 AM

They were fussy but if you moved around and changed lures a lot you could find a few fish. I had 3 fish to 18# but hit 5 different places fron 2:30 to 5:30 to find where they were.
The decent fish were right on the turn. But the night before OH MY :>)
I'm still not throwing eels getting all my fish on dannys, needles and rubber.
