1st show in Boston. RW is doing The Wall Live - probably be the last time too.

Face 77.50 each Section 306. Tickets in hand, going Friday night instead.

How loud was it?

Not exactly ear-ringing loud.

Sound was good......clear, bass would thump your chest. Like SD said...not ear ringing loud. I prefer Clear over loud

Very good show - guitarist was a bit weak but the shoes were not small to fill. But as Slip texted, the drummer was awesome.

I found a bootleg dvd of the show.They put on a good show.I saw some crazy ticket prices.No way I could spring that kind of $$$ to go.Waters actually sounded pretty good and the other guy singing wasn't half bad.Funny before reading this post I thought the drummer nailed it pretty good.

Was a great show, Waters sure likes to be the showman. But the three guitarists esp GE Smith came up way short of Gilmour's perfection , waters could have done a better job here. We had our fingers crossed that being Oct 3rd there might be a Gilmour sighting for the 30th anniversary of the berlin wall but no dice but well worth the 120 bucks.

Heard rumors that Gilmour has agreed to do one show this year, was hoping for our night but really didn't expect. Yes, guitar was lacking significantly.

Yeah my friend herd those same rumors and got me all amped up, I hope it happens anyway as long as it's not New York.
There is a reason GE Smith played on SNL all those years, someone like
Mark Knopfler could have pulled it off but that would have been expensive.
