DEFINITELY!!! if it's giant out there, i am the first to look for
something protected and out of the wind.

there is NO fish worth my Life Time~~~

that being said, i know a couple of spots i've been itching to try in these VERY SAME conditions.
thanks for the heads up, doc!!

Just got back in. Had fish for a half hour, just before dark. Or maybe just before the wind kicked up another ten knots and I couldn't get the bottle out to where they had been.... Gonna be the wind more than the surf that will make it tough, IMO

thanks Ross~~~

looks like the Powerpro is staying in the SUV!!

will be bumping up to the Black Mambo Riggies(4-6oz's)

they should punch thru, nicely, from the business end
of my 11 footer! may go to the 80# flouro for more weight.

prolly just stick wit the 60# Ande pink, i'll have both with me!

Howd you do bud? I had the windows open last night and a picture blew off the wall :D couldnt have been too pleasant out there.

No love for me this AM, even though it was fishy... Just saw one bass caught and some blues...

BassDawg 10-01-2010 11:16 PM

was able to manage a coupla cookie cutters
36" & 37", tight to shore, tucked under some ledges.

the wind and seas laid down around 0400 Fri.
was workin' from the high rocks, when i found the "twins".

lost my fresh riggie on my 10th or 11th "last cast", no COWS!

call me crazy~~~

but i actually LOVE the big surf, and there was no rain,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,though, i doan mind the wet either.

so long as i can find a safe place to fish it from. the weird thing was,,,,,,,,,,,,,i didn't even realize the first fish was awn, until it was almost too late. good lip set though, and a healthy release.

last night was training for the MS Surf Club Challenge in WKPG,
there is ALWAYS a Big Blow when that tournament takes place!!

Nice job :buds:

I like it a little nasty as well, makes it interesting as long as its not all weeded up. Be safe out there.
