Some on here remember this show. Many younger may not. Got a chuckle just now seeing this.

I grew up watching that show and have fond memories of watching this while staying home from school sick.

Lumpy Rutherford.....(Sorry....Clarence), Whitey, Larry Mondello, great show, great memories!

UserRemoved1 10-12-2010 05:57 AM

I was just reading about Lumpy

Clarence Rutherford - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Wikipedia rocks

"In another episode, Wally and Eddie Haskell play a prank on Lumpy that involves the rear axle of his car being removed with a chain."

I remember that episode that was some funny chit :hee:

They don't make tv shows like this anymore. Good clean fun. No guns/violence.

Just saw that on the news.....she was awesome! RIP Mrs. Cleaver....you still look lovely in that dress!

FishermanTim 10-18-2010 11:54 AM

She had a bit part in the movie "Airplane" where she talks "jive" with a couple of passengers. That's one for the archives!

Raven 10-18-2010 12:59 PM

she was practically a second Mom for me....

and HUGH Beaumont was so much like my father

that it was uncanny..... well, a little more reasonable

Rest in Peace JUNE (Barb)

I liked Lumpy's father,Richard Deacon. He would talk about his Clarence like he was a cinch to be in the Oval Office one day.And Ward would agree with everything he said with just the slightest air of doubt."Yes,of course Fred,I know how the other boys look up to Lumpy,I mean Clarence".Tee Hee.
