Winter Striper Fishing

Picked up Over-Winter Striper Secrets by Capt. Al Anderson in hopes of learning what and roughy where to go. Has anyone read this book and/or have any advice? Wanted to try the back end of Hundred Acre Cove, Barr/EP/Konk boarder, in part because I used to live on it as a child and have access by way of a friend. Also wanted to try the Estuaries along the RI coast. Or is all of this a waste of my time?

This was by far my best season of fishing and I don't/can't stop now! Got to give a shout out to a Salty Dawg named Marty, who I learned a lot from this year.

Seen some 30"+ fish caught there in Spring/Summer... given that, would it hold fish before icing over?
