There is a place called "The Camera Company" located in Norwood that used to do that.

is it 8MM or VHS? Most camera shops can do 8MM. Most electronics stores and Amazon sell DVD recorders pretty cheap that copy VHS to DVD

8MM.

DVD recorder

I bought a DVD recorder off Amazon at the suggestion of folks here - very cheap ~100 and works great. I use it to take things off of the DVR to DVD. As long as you can hook the 8MM to your tv you are set.

We had that done for my parents anniversary a few years ago. I think Hunt Drug in Boston did it:confused: can't remember

but ya it can be done

last christmas i transferred 3 vhs videos to dvd at walgreens, took about a week and a day or so. cost me about 75 bucks.
the reaction was worth it, but i'd definitely look into a vhs/dvd recorder.
