KJLane 03-24-2003 04:35 PM

anyone know of herring in any of the cape runs? most importantly, the mashpee run? i'd think if they're in plymouth then they'll be running down on the cape.

The herring also swam up the Taunton river into the Nemasket river.

River, herring was refering to the Matt! ... Errr, umm, well...

On a side note, the herring are running UP the rivers to spawn. Please do us a favor and let them run up the river unmolested so they can spaw for the next couple years... By the time they are heading back down the runs, the basses will be here and the time of free living and free spooling will be upon us!

I'm Ready

Bring em on I use a ice fishing rod if a have to :ss:

Notaro 03-25-2003 04:18 PM

yeah, that's a good idea. i rather see if they are abundent, then i will catch a half buckets of them for live-baits. so we better wait until the basses show up.
