Surf Rod

White Rhino, 9', 2 piece surf rod, this rod is approximately two years old and has been used 4 or 5 times - hence my wanting to get rid of it. I think I paid more than $60 for it, but truthfully can't remember. It is in very good shape.

Make offer

How about FREE to anyone who will come get it or pay for shipping?

Can make arrangements to drop off or meet depending upon location, I'm in Boston during the week, RI most weekends.

It's really in good shape, simply not used or needed.

Sounds like a good rod for the Mass Bass Striper Swipers.

OliverNBPT 03-26-2003 09:47 AM

Theirs if they would like it.

BEETLE 03-26-2003 11:19 AM

Hi Beetle Bailey from MSBA. I would like to see this go (preferably) to one of the older kids in the swipers, where it can get some use -- does anyone know a member around OliverNBPT's part of the country - Charlestown, RI, correct ? who could grab it for the swiper's ???
Thank you Oliver for the offer.

Or Boston/Cambridge?

Oliver - We'll all need to get together for lunch and hit Bob Smith's :D - I'm over by Federal & High...

John O' welcome to S-B...

Steve K 03-27-2003 09:30 AM

Sadly, Bob Smith's is no more.

OliverNBPT 03-27-2003 09:59 AM

That would be nice. Do you do much fishing around the harbor in the eve's? I've never, but plan to check out a few places this year - if you have any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

JohnR 03-27-2003 10:28 AM

I would definitely suggest finding a spot over by the Charles River locks when the herring are dumping out :D ... I don't hang around Boston at night anymore. I live in Rhody now so that's where I fish at night...

I forgot that the store closed. I've bought a few items there before - including a couple St Croix rods. Sometimes their prices were good and sometimes not so good. Is the one on Comm Ave across from EMS gone too?

OliverNBPT 03-27-2003 10:36 AM

Where do you live in Rhody and how's the commute? I've been tossing around that idea for some time but wasn't sure how feasible it would be.
