MAD as HELL
 

i had gone around covering everything
with PLASTIC huge clear Bags to keep all equipment dry
with showers predicted later and tonight .....

SUDDENLY out of NO WHERE
comes this VICIOUS SQUALL

with Tornado strength winds ... (felt like)

things were going sideways....
this after i heard a very loud noise from inside the house
of a fiberglass greenhouse panel buckling ....
(not a good sound at all)

so........
i go running out and everything i did was now UN -done
the panel is JUNK ....it'll never lay flat again
replacement cost around $30 bucks...
GLAD it was only one!:wall:

But it made me so damned mad i held me fists in the AIR
and cursed the nasty winds with all my POWER in me
in my deepest Barbarian VOICE yelling:
WILL you F-ING COOL IT

and instantly it subsided into a peaceful calm .....birds singing
very strange indeed.... still pissed off though

We had wind a few days ago.....but I went out for a pizza and it was good. Too much cheese and not enough pepperoni!:wall: I ate the pizza anyway, grabbed a soda and came home.:scratch: Wait....what was I talking about?

Came down here to Lakeville Raven. Got about 5 minutes of Pea size hail...a few hard drops of rain and then the sun came out with a wink for 1/2 hour.

When are you going to part the waters of the canal so one can walk from the mainland to the "other" side, I want to be there to witness that one...

I was out in that too rinsing off the truck. The water went sideways. The sky turned black and me and the dog made a beeline for the garage. Kinda funny cause the dog was looking at me like WTF was that. Then the sun came out and we carried on.
I would have said it was pretty close to a micro burst.

Newport got pelted too.

Luckily i was able to pop out the dent.... that was the second time in a week this happened ...talk about WIND round Here. Last time the sheet was blown completely off the building .

so i am gonna lay this very heavy flat piece of iron on top of it
thats 3 inches wide a half inch thick and ten feet long...

after i screw it down bigtime of course because the special rubber washer ring nails totally failed . :wall:

that better hold it....:uhuh: cuz fasteners ain't cuttin it :devil2:

it's 34 degrees here now and 32 on saturday morning
