I'm excited for this year. They'll have their ups and downs but it should be fun. This whole new technical thing could be a joke but maybe Perk will learn from it. They should just call it the Celtics rule.

If Shaq can rebound and have guys like we have on this team feeding him the ball "when the time is right" he will be a huge asset! They look great but the turnovers are letting the Heat back in this game!

Sidenote......Miami looks like crap! I think those egos will clash all season!

I'm no basketball fan but with Shak on the Celtics I may follow the team a bit because the guy is a riot !

Still recovering from his finals injury. I thought he wouldn't be fully back until after the all star break but he was on the court shooting pre-game.

the celts don't get enough games on TNT since they were busy washing the balls of teams like Cleveland,orlando etc. so they apparently aren't familiar enough

The Celts did not get Shaq for his foul shooting! I see him running the lane and dunking quite a bit this season! Rondo and the rest of the team will be looking for him running the lane like a freight train!!!

glad the season is underway. Good win. Miami is going to be very good once they jell. You can just see it but I think our depth will put us ahead of them by seasons end but don't count them out they are going to be very good.

Rondo was wearing the headband upside down and the league told him he wasn't allowed to. They said he had to wear it the correct way or not at all, so he decided not to wear it.

The best thing about it is that the reason he was wearing it upside down is because the players image on the NBA logo is Jerry West, a former Laker. Rondo didn't want to wear a headband with a Laker on it. Makes me like him even more.

i got to get involved with NBA now. what's the new technical rule? hopefully we'll get to see shaq brake a few backboards this season. or have him break the hydraulics and watch the basket slowly lower down. that stuff makes me laugh.
