Anyone know where he is? Is he down South? Looking to have another rod built and I can't find him.

He moved back to Oklahoma but i'm still keeping in touch with him.... he rebuilt a 136 old 12 footer ~ lammie for me... I'll get in touch with him and have him post.... he is still building rods and living next to his daughter.

Chef talked to him recently hopefully he will chime in. If you can't get ahold of him I highly recommend our very own saltheart. Very impressed with the rod he built for me, casts great and handels fish very well.

Yeah last time I talked to him was a few weeks ago and he had no eta on when he was coming back.

Saltheart does come highly recommended.

WOW.. I can't ship a 1322-1 to Oklahoma. George is a one of a kind guy and I'm sad he can't build this rod. But I will hit up Saltheart once the blank gets delivered. Chris, have him call me if you talk to him.

will do Jay, hes using another guy he trained but no one I know has had a rod built my him.

Wish CMS would just do the shrink wrap like the st croix rods, too bad.
