Herring

Went to Gilbert Stuart today and sure enough the little guys were there. Got there around 10 stayed for an hour with my son. Glad to see no one took any fish although some kid (not mine of course) was throwing rocks at them. The fish look pretty big to me, they were at least a foot long. I say I saw at least 200 of them.

How does this run work? I know you have to be a certain distance from the fish ladder to legally take them. How do you know when they open up the dam so the fish can get by.....and when they do that do the fish all head up into the pond together?

You can only take them from the other side of the road...

YS, is that a recent pic? I was at the Wakefield run today and it was screaming. Water was moving so fast I couldn't see anything.

The pic is from Oct/Nov of last year.

I haven't been done there yet, but I'm sure it'll look alot different.

YS

the section of the river you took the pic is fenced off at the main part for the last couple of years, don't think they use that section anymore.

Chris the water is very high witch is good more will make it up to the ponds and they are very hard to get in big water.
