Hooked again's thread got me thinking. The next plug building fad???.......and why not, nobody uses them anymore, but once upon a time everybody sold them so the demand must have been high....and likely for a good reason.

Have at it.

Peter has a few other similar styles too. Nice job.

The Emerson and Ruhren popper is pretty cool looking Numby.
I think I saw it at SWLLC.

I'm looking forward to giving this a shot. I like the old school look of this type of plug. The glitter on the back of my plug is very thick, was this done for a reason? Or just the way they did it wat back when.

Nice poppers George. I've always liked the big poppers as well. Peter had a few that I really thought were cool . Might have to go over and check them out again...just have to figure out how to get home :gu:!

I've got access to the Cap'n Bill's popper and a swimmer, I'll take some measurements and post the drawing. Try to use my X-ray vision to see what's inside. Need to do something for all the help I've gotten here :)

I'm diggin that cuttyhunk popper might try making some of these big poppers this winter. I messed up the slope on one of my pikies and ended up cutting the head off to save some material, already looks like some of these:grins:
Thanks for posting this George

Hey guys,

New here, and I wanted to show off some of the first poppers i made earlier this year for Muskies. I'm still a newbe, this being my second season building. i took the liberty of trying out some flames and marbling techniques on these.

Thanks for taking a look
