I tunes, from one com. to another.
 

I hate, hate, hate , hate , computers.:wall: I can't get my I tunes off the family computer and on to my own lap top. All friggin weekend I have been trying. Got an external HD and still I can't get them,. I'm stupid and can't figure this crap out. I watched guys do it on u tube and still I can't do it. I got some of them transfer but some didn't go. Now this morning I thought i had it figured out and now I can play any of them. I got my picture transfered but the music is giving me a real head ache. WTF

BTW did i mention I friggin HATE computers

google sharepod ..
it is the only way i have found to transfer tunes from my ipod to another computer ...
and it is the way i 'back up ' the actual tunes to a removable hard drive ..
as i said it is what i've found :smash:
if there is any thing or any way else to do it i'm open for suggestions :)

google TouchCopy.... I used this and it worked great

Your music should be in a folder called music. Not in iTunes.

i second sharepod. I did my son's ipod nano to ipod touch with this and was flawless.

did ya get things worked out ??

not yet. i kind of gave up for a while to go back at it with a clear mind. Nutin good ever comes of doing anything while pissed. May take Bill up on his offer or I have another computer friend that may help me out but for now I am just enjoying the new pod and syncing from the family computer. i will post how I make out when i remedy the situation.
