If you didn't get the message... change the hardware. I released a 15lb fish last night and then noticed the hook was gone and what was left was an open split ring. This was no epic fight either. The rings on em are total junk.

I changed the hardware on mine but havent caught squat on it. A 15 lb fish in January, thats more news than the strength of the hardware.
