Thanks for posting, Buzz. Hopefully this article can bring to light how screwed up the laws are in a case like this. It's really too bad that the shark couldn't have been brought in and studied for science.

Great article! Yes, to bad it couldn't have been brought in. Wasn't the shark in Jaws the movie 24'? This one at +/-20' is not far off. LOTS OF SEAL EATING POTENTIAL!

As an occasional scuba diver, who may just happen to look a little bit like a seal, the theorizing about the shark maybe chasing seals to the bottom will have me thinking the next time I go!
