There are many sizes and types of jigs for skinning these are among my favorites

On one lucky trip to the cribben I actually dredged up an old line with a mess of hardware hanging off it and at the end of the line was one of those jigs pictured. It is a rare occasion to leave the canal with more jigs than you came and even rarer for that to be with a skin jig:)
