I'm not a real classical buff but this gentleman is by far my favorite and listen to him often. Very modern style and some movie scores too. Hard to believe he was a little Jewish boy from Brooklyn and wrote so wonderfully about the American West and America in general. which I find to be his most intersecting works. Just plain great music.
