Bottle swimmers

Do you need a jig to cut away the extra wood or do you use a table saw? I've heard they are a P.I.T.A. to make. I was wondering if anyone would mind posting a pic of thier jigs to help point me in the right direction.

Thanks,
Mike

If your talking about the extra wood on the face then a band saw is the way to go imo.

To be honest, I've never turned one... I'm looking for a soup to nuts tutorial. I saw you at M&D's yesterday but didn't recognize you before you left.

mr.pogie did a tutorial I believe
and bandsaw is the way to go before going to the drill press with small diameter sanding drums

Mike-

yep... the mr pogie tutorial on the other site is a soup to nuts lesson on how to make the full sized bottle plug. The bottles I posted were made following his instructions and some comments from Numbskull.
