Thanks for the nice comments.

I never did weigh those plugs. They were about 3.5 in. long. I put weight in some of them, and no weight in others. I knew I wasn't going to have a chance to test them. They were made with red cedar which I don't use often.

The red plug has a gold metalic base (autoair), the skull (from a stencil, then shaded), and a candy apple red (AA) on top. If you want the cand apple color, you have to use a gold base. It's hard to photograph these, and they look more 3D in person.
