BJ'S
Last week I picked up a bucket of ICE-MELT at BJ'S $19.95 SAID 50lbs,when I opened it it was 90% full, that S@%^S When my son came over he asked me to pick up some for him. I went back up to get some an was going to ASK about the bucket not being full.BUT they were OUT. so I shot next door to LOWES' 50lb BAG $18.95 thats sounds better + 10% discount as a veteran. I kept the BUCKET so I could refull w/ the Bag. I Cut it an FILLED the BUCKET an still had 1/4 of the BAG LEFT. WHAT weight system is BJ'S using :fury:
GOOD LUCK GOOD SHOPPING:smash: |
Perhaps the previous ice melt was denser and thus had less volume.

Weigh it. I'm sure it weighs 50 lbs.

that would depend on
how many pieces of powdered rock salt was in the Bj's Bucket

I was wondering how a thread with the title BJ's could be in the grumpy old farts forum. I forgot about the store with that name.

The reason is, gold is measured and sold by the Troy ounce, and there are just a little more than 14 Troy ounces in a pound. ;) |
