im going ot be launching @ battery park in newport around 10 or 11...

probably have lunch on rose island.. noodle around, look at seals, jig for anything that i might mark on the fish finder under the newport bridge..????? cod?? who knows.

wind will be 5 kts, air temp will be 40.. perfect.

Yaks are in the basement until March...trailer under 2 feet of snow. Wish I could but have fun!:uhuh:

where is slappy located?? I'll be chasing holdovers next month, or as soon as my honey hole is ice free..

Slappy is mostly in boston area, but maybe you could convince him to fish Providence
