google
has anyone noticed lately that when you click on the first or second link of a search, which is excatly what you are looking for, it does not take you there, but it takes you to some paid add, and you have to back up, re-click, and then you go where you wanted...
now that I am posting, I can't get it to do it, but it has happened to me several times this week. And I am certain I clicked on what I wanted, not the add..... Anyone else? |
OK, it just happened again. I typed staples into google, search bar (faster than typing wwwstaplescom) then hit enter, and clicked on staples link, and got an add for something that pointed me to staples, but also other office supplies. I am 100% certain I did not click on the Add that precedes the actual search results (which is for Staples anyway).

Tried to recreate the scenario that caused that to happen to you and nothing exciting happened. I'm using Google Chrome on XP.
