Lets see your stash of vintage beaters you might be using for dupes?? Maybe even some of your finished duplicates?? I will post some in awhile after I take pic!:uhuh:

Larry in the second pic, the third one down, did you just win that in the auction site??
If so I was the a hole bidding in the last few minutes trying to win. Had for a second then outbid. It's a cool plug. Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |

here's my beaters
even a slip needle in there |
Nice pile Bruce! Beaters can be an invaluable and sometimes inexpensive way to learn about plugs of yesteryear especially when replicating the classics! I picked up a large MasterLure Snook last night!! Can't wait to dupe a few of them and lay my paint on them!:uhuh:

Larry I was watching that snook too!!! Guess your my competion on eBay!

As a mermaid enthusiast I am offended by your exploitation of topless mermaids!!!

My Grandfather was a big saltwater guy and before he died, he gave me this big army bag he had FULL of plugs. All wood. I had no use for them and I stored the bag in a box figuring I would find a use for them someday. Well, I was probably 16 then...left the box with my Mother and moved away for a couple years.
She threw them out. Said.."What? they were just some old junk plugs?" :smash: My Grandmother also threw out his old Baseball card collection which included a Micky Mantle Rookie card. Nice.:yak5: |
