Rod for 320 GT2
 

Could I please have your suggestions for a med boat rod to put with these reels?
Looking for best bang for the buck

Daiwa Eliminator 6'6" either the med heavy 2-6 oz 12-30lb or the the 3-8 oz 20-60lb either way they cost about +- $45.

You may want to take a look at a new line of rods from Star Rods, it's called the Aerial series and they seem to be priced right around $50-$60, I would think a nice 6'6" rod in the 15-30lb range would work great with that reel....

no offense but I think Diawa makes a very poor quality rod. I brought two of them a couple of years ago. One snapped in half with a fish on. Never got to see what it was. I am guessing it may have been a yellow fin. The other one snapped last year while I was trolling wire. The rig got caught in some rocks. This is the only brand I have had an issue with.

I will take a look at the Star rods. The Daiwa rods look like a good value and plan to go to see Mike at his shop to check them out.
